Ramp Group has been awarded Preferred Vendor status by Microsoft Corporation in both application development and Web development professional services, announced Robb Nielsen, a member of the firm.
Ramp has worked with Microsoft on more than 100 projects, delivering application and Website development, as well as strategic business and product planning. Recent notable projects include creating the Vista Upgrade Advisor for the worldwide launch of Microsoft's newest operating system, developing the high profile recruiting site for Microsoft's Exchange team, www.exchangeyourcareer.com, and working with Zune on their MCML desktop application.
"Working with Microsoft provides our team the opportunity to work on world-class, game-changing initiatives," said Robb Nielsen, a member of Ramp. "Being made a Preferred Vendor means a great deal to all of us because it demonstrates the value of our work at Microsoft, and we're grateful to everyone at Microsoft who recommended us."
Over the last seven years, Ramp has grown to a 100+ team of highly experienced technology and business experts. The firm distinguishes itself by integrating specialized services such as user experience design, business intelligence, test management and automation into its development projects.
In part because of its strong relationship with Microsoft, Ramp has grown rapidly in recent years. It recently was named one of the state's fastest growing private companies by the Puget Sound Business Journal and one of the fastest growing companies in the country by Inc. Magazine.
In addition to its work with Microsoft, Ramp's clients range from emerging technology companies such as Groundspeak, the leading facilitator for global geocaching, and Washington State's Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.
