Washington Technology Industry Association Names Ramp Service Provider of the Year

Ramp Group has earned the title of Service Provider of The Year by the Washington Technology Industry Association, announced Robb Nielsen, a member of the firm.

Citing Ramp's ability to deliver truly game-changing results to its clients, the company was named the Service Provider of The Year at the prestigious 2008 Industry Achievement Awards in Seattle this month.

"This honor is defining for our company because it speaks directly to our mission to create loyal and enthusiastic clients through strategic understanding of their business and exceptionally usable software," said Nielsen.

From websites to core applications, Ramp designs and develops next generation applications that elevate the user experience, helping businesses build better and more profitable relationships with their customers. Ramp's clients range from emerging technology companies such as Groundspeak, the leading facilitator for global geocaching, to Washington State’s Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. The firm is also a Preferred Microsoft vendor.

"Our goal is to exceed expectations and have some fun doing it, so gaining clear feedback from our clients and employees is built into our business practices," explained Nielsen. "We take great pride in our customer satisfaction scores, which consistently are on par with elite, consumer lifestyle brands like Apple, Mini Cooper, and Harley Davidson. That's very hard to do in the service business."

"From entrepreneurs to Fortune 100 companies, our clients consistently give us the opportunity to tackle tough business challenges, to partner with them and to help them achieve strategic, sustainable growth through technology. This important acknowledgment from the WTIA says as much about the success of our clients as it does about Ramp," said Nielsen.

In addition to receiving top honors as Service Provider of The Year from WTIA, Ramp recently was named one of the Best Places to Work by Washington CEO Magazine and made the fastest growing companies lists of the Puget Sound Business Journal and Inc. Magazine.
