Washington CEO Names Ramp One of the Best Places to Work

Ramp Group again has been named one of the state’s best places to work by Washington CEO Magazine, announced Kim Luke, human resources manager at Ramp.

"We are enormously fortunate to attract some of the best and brightest minds in business technology to Ramp,” said Robb Nielsen, a partner at Ramp. “One of our core goals is to provide an environment in which our talented team members can challenge themselves, be rewarded and have fun. To again receive this recognition from Washington CEO is highly gratifying."

The members of Ramp's team come from all over the world and have an average of 15+ years' industry experience; many have been with the company for most of its history. Their work often sets industry standards. Recently, Ramp was named Service Provider of the Year by the Washington Technology Industry Association, which cited the company’s ability to "deliver truly game-changing results to its clients." Additionally, Ramp recently produced a Website for Concur which is one of five nominees for a prestigious Webby Award. The 12th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 10,000 entries from over 60 countries and all 50 states.

Ramp's leadership engages the imagination of staff by deliberately attracting a range of projects that provide interesting challenges. Ramp's staff has the opportunity to work on world-class applications for Fortune 100 companies like Microsoft and innovative technology solutions that are critical to the success of many of its entrepreneurial clients.

"One of our central measurements of success as a business is our employees' satisfaction, which we measure quarterly in double-blind surveys," explained Nielsen. "We use that information to tailor programs that continue to help incent our staff and support professional growth."

The company's benefits program includes both a traditional profit sharing plan as well as opportunities to engage in more entrepreneurial ventures. Each year, Ramp has partnered with startup companies by exchanging services for equity. These ventures allow Ramp to support local start-up companies and provide its staff with the opportunity to reap the potential rewards of the investment.
