Ramp Moves to New Bellevue Offices

Ramp Group moved this month into newly designed offices to better accommodate its growth and business approach, announced Robb Nielsen, a managing partner at Ramp.

Ramp moved from its 9,500-square-foot-space in the One Bellevue Center Building in downtown Bellevue across the street to 11,685-square-foot offices in the Plaza 305 Building. “We haven’t increased our space by that much, but the difference in the way we can work and interact with each other and clients is tremendous,” said Nielsen.

A software technology company, Ramp leveraged its own expertise in user experience design to create its highly flexible, creative new offices. Its new office has pockets of space for informal, spontaneous brainstorming and meetings, a game lounge and a large conference room with a barn-like door to generate a feeling of openness so people walk in feeling welcome and ready to contribute. There are whiteboard-like wall coverings throughout the space so ideas can be captured and developed as staff move around the offices.

Established in 2000, Ramp has distinguished itself as an innovative, highly responsive company. It is consistently cited as one of the best places to work and was named Service Provider of 2008 by the Washington Technology Industry Association. The company is also on the Puget Sound Business Journal and Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing companies lists. “It was time our offices reflected how we work and what we represent in the market,” said Nielsen.

“Ramp’s entire office is built around facilitating idea generating, team building and productivity,” said Aimee Collins, interior design manager at Freiheit & Ho Architects in Bellevue. “We took their lead from graphics they had created in house and worked with them to create a space that met their highly refined usability requirements."

Jason Smith, a senior vice president at GVA Kidder Mathews, served as Ramp’s broker on the lease. “This site offers Ramp one of the most visible identity opportunities in town. Having taken the entire second floor, they’re signage will face 108th Avenue NE, downtown Bellevue’s main office street.”

Ramp’s new address is 305—108th Avenue NE, Suite 200.
